  • 🏖☀️ Beach Trips 🏖☀️

    Fri 27 May 2022

P6, LSC1 and P2 recently visited Ballyhornan Beach as a reward for their excellent effort in the School Growing Challenge.

LSC1 enjoyed looking for features of the seaside, searching the rock pools and building sandcastles as part of their World Around Us topic on ‘The Sea and Seaside’.

The P6 pupils enjoyed being able to play football on the beach and dip their feet into the water in the warm weather. They had a fantastic time sharing a wonderful experience with their friends.

P2 showcased great examples of teamwork, problem-solving and imagination. They were very busy digging holes, making sandcastles and finding beautiful stones and shells to bring home as special memories. The children loved exploring the sensory elements of the beach, including the feel of the sand and the sound of the waves.
