🤝 Cost of Living Crisis Support Update 🤝
Sun 11 Dec 2022We understand the cost of living crisis is impacting on a number of members our school community. We greatly value everyone in our school community and want to help in whatever way possible. Therefore, we have put the following measures in place, which are designed to be of assistance.
Further to the measures outlined on the poster below, we would like to assist families within our school who are struggling with Christmas costs.
We are in the process of securing and purchasing a range of children's gifts, meat vouchers, food items and hampers, which may support families at this difficult time.
Please email saustin015@c2ken.net, if you would be interested in availing of support with Christmas gifts or food. All enquiries will be completed confidentially.

🎭🎄 Christmas Pantomime Trip 🎭🎄
Sat 10 Dec 2022Everyone at St. Colmcille’s PS travelled to Belfast yesterday for a fun and enjoyable Christmas Pantomime performance! All classes from P1-7 and LSC1-4 enjoyed watching a hilarious performance of Cinderella in the beautiful surroundings of The Grand Opera House, Belfast. Our pupils, as always, behaved excellently throughout, a true credit to our school and their families. Thank you to our wonderful PTFA for preparing treat bags for every pupil to enjoy at the show. Thank you also, to all who were involved in the planning of this fantastic trip and to Coach Connections Ireland for transporting us safely and in style to and from the event. A wonderful experience for the whole school to get us in the Christmas spirit!

🍕 LSC Christmas Pizza Treat 🍕
Fri 09 Dec 2022Last week, Apache Pizza made a trip to LSC1, 2, 3 and 4! The pupils enjoyed a selection of pizza and chicken and finished it off with some warm cookies! Thank you to Rory and Rosaleen Cunliffe for organising this special Christmas treat for our fantastic pupils!

🎅🎄 Santa Visit 🎅🎄
Wed 07 Dec 2022Our favourite person from the North Pole will be visiting St. Colmcille’s PS tomorrow. He will be bearing gifts & receiving Christmas lists!
Thank you to the Santa’s Little Helpers of the PTFA for preparing a beautiful grotto (see link below), wrapping 100s of presents, hampers and assisting with our Christmas preparations!
