Pupils will receive a treat and a film in their class Bubble in the afternoon. Treats have been kindly organised by our PTFA. • School Council 2020-21

    Wed 14 Oct 2020

Our new School Council had their first ‘socially distanced’ meeting in the school playground today. They met with Mrs Cassidy, our School Council Leader, to discuss some important school matters. The main topic of their meeting today was discussing the merits of wearing a PE jacket to school on PE Days. The Council unanimously voted for wearing a jacket and even chose a design. Parents will be consulted on the PE jacket in the coming days.

The photograph below shows members of the School Council- we are so proud of them all! Thanks to Mrs Cassidy for creating this socially distanced image using Green Screen!

  • Confirmation Day

    Tue 13 Oct 2020
We are so proud of our former P7 Pupils who received the Holy Spirit through the Sacrament of Confirmation this afternoon and evening. They all looked tremendous and so grown up in their new school uniforms. Fr Murray and Fr Toland delivered a lovely service and the boys & girls were a credit to their families, with a high level of engagement and reverence shown throughout. Thank you to Mr McReynolds, Mr Clifford, Mrs Morgan & all school staff for their hard work in preparing the children to receive the Sacrament!
  • World Mental Health Day

    Mon 12 Oct 2020

We celebrated World Mental Health Day in school on Friday morning with a virtual assembly for all classes. Important messages were shared on how to look and promote children's Mental & Physical Health which are closely linked. The children were genuinely interested in this topic- pupil behaviour and engagement was excellent. With the help of school staff & parents we hope our pupils put into practice the key learning outcomes from the assembly and always be happy & confident little people.

    Fri 09 Oct 2020
Huge thanks to Andrea Mc Menamin (Chair of our PTFA) & her Aunt Laura who worked together to create a truly spectacular Halloween Balloon Arch. They also decorated the front reception area with Halloween Decorations. Our pupils were thrilled to see the fabulous Balloon Arch and decorations in place and are really looking forward to Halloween and the fun events planned in school on the last day of term (dress up, film, arts & crafts & treats).
