๐๐ Netball Tournament Winners ๐๐
Fri 19 Apr 2024Today, members of our P5/6 netball team played in the Down Netball Club annual tournament alongside 5 other local feeder schools. The girls worked excellently together as a team and displayed some amazing netball skills. Their hard work paid off when they were awarded the overall winners of the tournament! Special mention to Elle-Mae who was awarded overall Player of the Tournament and Renae who won Player of the Match. Thank you to the Down Netball Club for organising such a great day and well done to all of our fantastic netballers – what a great way to end the season! We are grateful to Mrs Morgan, Mrs Dagen and Miss Feenan our wonderful netball coaches who give so generously of their time and efforts!

Fri 19 Apr 2024๐ Congratulations to our latest winners of the Pupil of the Week Award, who have impressed everyone this week with their hard work in class and excellent behaviour!
๐ Well done to our Rights Respecting Pupils of the Week. These pupils have been exemplary at showing respect for the rights of their friends throughout the week.
๐ถ Our fantastic Musicians of the Week have shown excellent effort and an on-going commitment to developing their musical talents.
โ๏ธ Our super Chess Champions this week are Faithe and Lorcan, who performed very well in Chess Club.

๐ผ The Sound of Music in P5/6 ๐ผ
Fri 19 Apr 2024Whole class instrumental lessons have begun this term. The children in P5 are learning to play the tin whistle while P5/6 are getting to grips with the recorder under the tuition of Mrs Fryer.
The children will be developing their rhythm, pitch, listening and performance skills while learning a new instrument!

Mon 15 Apr 2024Huge congratulations to our P7 superstar Olivia, the youngest ever Dancing All Star! Olivia has won the Advanced Junior & Teen Solo World Dance Masters European Championship! She also finished 1st in her Pro Ams, 1st in Partners, 3rd in Showcase Duos and 1st in her team for Country Classic Team Dance. Everyone at St Colmcille’s Ps is very proud of you Olivia!

Fri 12 Apr 2024A recent increase to EA Funding has allowed for our school crossing to be formally reinstated.
Mr Craig has received full training and is covering the role in the mid term.
Our children must cross the Killough Road with Mr Craig & follow his instructions, parental support in encouraging this is greatly appreciated!
