    We are delighted to have recently completed work on our new Outdoor Classroom which is a fantastic addition to our state-of-the-art Sensory Garden and outdoor facilities. Each class is timetabled for at least three one hour sessions per week. Iโ€™m sure you will agree that children will thoroughly enjoy learning outdoors in our beautiful school grounds, making memories that will last forever!

You can visit the link below to view the outcome of your application this Wednesday 28th April at 10am.     Please see the attached information from Miss Vaughan. ย We have been celebrating Earth Day today in school and would love our families to get involved by carrying out a โ€˜clean-upโ€™ in a local nature area e.g. beach or woodland. ย Please follow all Covid 19 guidelines and restrictions.โ€

  • ๐Ÿ“–โœ๏ธ๐Ÿ“š Scholastic Book Fair ๐Ÿ“–โœ๏ธ๐Ÿ“š

    The Scholastic Book Fair will be at St Colmcille's Primary School from Monday 19th April - Friday 23rd April. A timetable has been created and each class bubble will visit the Book Fair to have a look at the wonderful books available this year.

    Unfortunately, we are unable to invite parents to the Book Fair this year however click on the link below to browse the books which are available to purchase at the Book Fair. If you would like to purchase any of the books simply place your order online and the books will be delivered directly to the school.ย 

    For every ยฃ1 you spend in the Book Fair, our school will earn 20p in Scholastic Rewards which we will use to refresh reading schemes and classroom libraries.ย 

    Please place your order online by 23rd April, 2021.

  • Trocaire Donation

    A donation of ยฃ500 was recently made to Trocaire on behalf of St Colmcille's School Community. The money was raised from our Easter Raffle and will aid the good work of Trocaire in Sudan, supporting many families dealing with conflict and poverty. Fr Toland accepted the donation on behalf of Trocaire. Huge thanks to our PTFA, parents, school staff and pupils for their generosity and who all worked together to fundraise and provide support to people experiencing life and death situations on a daily basis.

    School Staff are really looking forward to welcoming all of our children back tomorrow morning for the beginning of Term 3. Please familiarise yourself with our latest March Newsletter for important back to school information. Our website has also been recently updated with the latest news regarding Bubble Clubs, Dinner Menu and upcoming dates/events. School Money should be used to book school meals and Bubble Clubs. Additional queries can be addressed through our Seesaw platform.

    A gentle reminder that all users of the school site should be wearing a face covering and must practise socially distancing. All pupil collections will now take place from the rear yard following the staggered timetable on our Newsletter. Thank you in advance for your continued cooperation!
