A snapshot of the play based learning activities we carried out during our senses topic.
In P3A we got off to a great start with our new topic ‘Our Senses’. We explored the idea that all of our five senses were at play when making popcorn and discussed how we might be affected if one of our senses was taken away. We enjoyed looking at the kernels, listening to the popcorn in the microwave and smelling the delicious aroma in the room. We then used our sense of touch to put some popcorn in a bag so that we could taste it when we got home. We thought of lots of interesting adjectives to describe our sensory experience with popcorn.
