⛺️ Den building ⛺️

The children took part in den building, thinking of different ways to build a den and what materials would work best! Some of them looked really cosy 🤗

🌟 Learning through play 🌟

This week in the creative classroom the children showcased some great learning through play. The children used the areas and materials to develop their cutting, writing constructing and exploring skills. The children worked very well together expanding and developing their vocabulary and team building skills. Some children worked together to design and construct a cinema with its very own popcorn stand using paper cups, others created a restaurant and were cooking up some noodles and some even made a rainbow using egg cartons and pipe cleaners. It was amazing to see the creations made and the children developing a wide range of skills and most importantly having fun! 

👷🏾‍♂️ Outdoor play 👷🏼‍♀️

Primary One had great fun exploring our construction area, seeing what they could find and build. The children had to work together to gather the equipment they needed, talk about what they wanted to build and then communicate how they could construct it. They came up with some great ideas, such as skateboards, rollercoasters and houses. Afterwards they worked well together to ensure everything was  tidied up properly and making sure all the equipment went back to the right areas.
