National Poetry Day Assembly

The children worked extremely hard on their class assembly. They learnt and rehearsed lines from poems to make a wonderful video for their parents and family members. They then had the pleasure of hosting the assembly to their family with their friends. We also worked alongside the P6 children from LSC3. A great opportunity to integrate with our peers. A really fun and enjoyable assembly shared by all.

TRIP TO NEWCASTLE

The boys and girls in Primary 6 enjoyed a trip to the seaside this week. They availed of the Thursday bus and took in the local sights of Newcastle. This was an excellent reward for their hard work during assembly last week. The children made the most of the bright weather and took time to spend on the beach, walk along the promenade taking in the sights of the Mourne Mountains and Irish Sea while spending time in the play park. They finished the trip off with a visit to the shop where they enjoyed a teat. A great day out and nice break from the classroom.
