01.02.24 St. Brigid’s Day

Today marked the beginning of Spring as we celebrated St.Brigid’s Day. We began with a recap of the story of St. Brigid’s cloak and discussed the qualities of hope and faith that she demonstrated. The led us to make our own versions of St. Brigid’s cloak in mosaic style images. What beautiful results we had!

06.01.24 The Epiphany

Today we celebrated the Epiphany to mark the special date when a star led the three kings to visit baby Jesus after his birth. We utilised our creative skills to make crowns in honour of the kings and Jesus being revealed to the world. Some of us even included drawings of gold, frankincense and myrrh!
