Ball skills March and April

 

We have been focusing on ball skills through the games of football and basketball. Each week the skills have built up with a focus on dribbling and passing the ball in different ways, focusing on control.

Fitness February

 

We have been developing our fitness and strength over the past few weeks, becoming more resilient as each week passes. This core strength will help the children with all their sports over the coming months.

 

 

Dodgeball January

 

We have been developing our throwing and dodging skills over this term, particularly considering how to work as a team.

Gymnastics- November 

 

P5 have been enveloping their knowledge and skills in gymnastics this term, learning how to develop new balances and rolls. We will be building on this knowledge to compose and perform a gymnastic sequence and routine.

 

 

Fitness- October

This month in PE we have been developing our fitness through circuits. We have been working each week on trying to persevere and have been building our stamina each week. Even though there has been lots of sore legs- we have all been resilient.

Athletics- September

We have been developing our athletics skills of running, jumping and developing the correct stance for throwing shot put.
