Arts
Tin Whistle
P5 have begun learning the tin whistle. Every child has their own instrument and are having weekly lessons covering rhythm, pitch, composing and performing.
P5 created beautiful Easter eggs created using clay today. They manipulated the materials and created their own designs.
Landscape Art
As part of Children’s Mental Health week, we took part in an art workshop using wax repellent techniques and the medium of oil pastel and paints. The children looked closely at proportion in their work and complimentary colours.
Christmas Crafts
P5 have been designing and creating their own decorations and Christmas trees to get in the Christmas spirit.
P5 have been using watercolour paints to create silhouettes of some of the worldโs most famous landmarks. Can you spot any you recognise?
We have been making spooky skeleton crafts.
Halloween Art- we used paints to mix colours and create different shades to create effect and added Halloween inspired silhouettes.
We have been exploring the rainforest in WAU. Today we created a composition using percussion instruments to create the sounds of the rainforest including crescendo and diminuendo to show the varying rain patterns in a storm.
