Colour Day! Primary 2B shone brightly in red!โค๏ธโค๏ธ
Primary Two go bright for childrenโs rights! Happy World Childrenโs Day!
Happy European Languages Day! ๐๐
This week we celebrated European Languages Day. We enjoyed learning about the diversity of Europe and increasing our understanding of the different cultures and languages spoken throughout the continent. Primary Two are also very lucky to have Bulgarian children in the class who kindly spoke to us about their culture and language. To further appreciate the rich cultural diversity of Europe, we participated in a food taste test where we got to try a range of foods from Italy, Germany, Switzerland and France. ๐ฅ๐ซ๐ซSome of the children had not ate some of the foods before, and have found some new favourites! Super work!
Happy Roald Dahl Day!๐
The children enjoyed exploring the marvellous world of Roald Dahl this week when celebrating Roald Dahl Day! Primary Two completed a range of activities relating to some of the author’s most famous books! Our learning included:
- Completing a fine motor activity with the tweezers to clean Mr Twit’s beard.
- Creating our own marvellous potions inspired by ‘George’s Marvellous Medicine.’ ‘My potion makes me dance and smells of butterflies’ - Erin.
- Investigating the dye in skittles using warm and hot water at Willy Wonka’s sweet shop.
- Designing our own delicious sweetie wrappers.
Look at all the fun we had!
