Ball Games
We have been enjoying ball games. We are learning to recognise when we are in a team and to get into a space when trying to get the ball. We have also been working on our communication skills, calling for the ball when we are free and calling the names of those in our team.
W.A.L.T: Retell a story through dance.
The children have been enjoying learning about the Gruffalo and sequencing the events of the story in our Literacy lessons. In order to further develop this understanding, we explored the story in our PE lesson. The children created their own dance movements for each animal in the story. Then, they used these to retell each part of the story. Their final dance was brilliant!
