    On Friday 2nd December, along with our Colour Day, all classes will be participating in The Daily Mile Santa Run. Pupils are encouraged to bring in Christmas accessories, such as Santa hats, Christmas boppers or glasses, to wear along with their class colours when completing The Daily Mile. The Daily Mile is an all inclusive, world-wide initiative that we are proud to be part of at St. Colmcille’s PS. The pupils will be presented with a special Daily Mile Santa Run Certificate at the end of the day!

    Our staff always look to provide fun and engaging practical and outdoor learning opportunities for our pupils to enjoy, to consolidate and embed their learning. This week we visited LSC1, P2, P4, P4/5 and P6/7 to see some of the great work they have been doing lately!

    Well done to Olivia in P6, who competed at the World Dance Celtic Masters last weekend. Olivia placed 1st in Novice Junior Pro-Am, 1st in Intermediate Junior Solos, 1st in Duos, 1st in Standard Team, 1st in Cabaret and 3rd in Country Classic Team. Everyone in St. Colmcille's PS is immensely proud of Olivia's fantastic achievements. Keep up the hard work on stage!

  • ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽจ Christmas Colour Day ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽจ

    Next Friday, we will be celebrating Christmas Colour Day, pupils are invited to join in the celebrations by wearing the colour assigned to their year group (see poster below)! Throughout the week, where possible, we would like everyone to bring in hamper items according to their year group’s colours and place them in the boxes located in each classroom. Some of these items will be used to make up hampers for the PTFA Christmas Raffle and a number of hampers will also be donated to Fountain Foodbank on behalf of the school community.
