• P4 & LSC3 Art Workshops with Sacred Heart Primary School, Dundrum.

  St. Colmcille's and Sacred Heart Primary School, Dundrum, have entered into a shared curriculum art workshop for P1-P7 classes.  On Friday 29th September the children from P4, P5 and LSC3 completed their workshop on making portraits in the style of collages.  In October and December the rest of the classes will be working with their counterparts from Dundrum.  This is an exciting link for us in St. Colmcille's Primary School and one that will spread into the sporting arena soon.

  

• Numeracy Parental Workshop.

  We had a tremendous turnout for our latest workshop for parents/guardians.  This time the focus was on Mathematics and Numeracy.  Timothy Doyle, from Maths Improvement NI, led the session on 'Problem Solving and Reasoning'.  The materials that Timothy used can be downloaded in the newsletter section of the website.  The booklets are marked P1-P4 and P5-P7 respectfully.  We hope you enjoy using them.

• School Book Fair

  The School Book Fair will take place next Tuesday 26th September in the assembly hall.  It will be with us until Friday 29th September.  Parents are more than welcome to attend it in the hall before and after school.

• School Credit Union Bank
