World Book Day will take place on Thursday 7th March and we have some very exciting activities planned! We are inviting pupils to dress up as their favourite book character and bring in their favourite book to share with their classmates. 

This year's theme is 'Read Your Way'. The theme calls on everyone to let go of pressure and expectations, giving children a choice - and a chance - to enjoy reading. To celebrate this year's theme we would love to discover how our pupils 'Read Their Way' at home. Do they have a reading nook? A special chair they like to cosy up in while reading their favourite book? A reading area in their bedroom? A reading den? Do they enjoy reading independently or with a family member? Maybe they prefer to read in the local library? Or in their garden on a sunny day? Please send a photo of your child 'Reading Their Way' at home, to their class teacher, before World Book Day. 

We are really looking forward to celebrating World Book Day 2024 and dedicating a whole day to immersing ourselves in the amazing world of literature.
