Learning Through Play

⭐️ INDOOR CREATIVE CLASSROOM PLAY ⭐️

Our indoor creative classroom this week focused on the following skills:

🌟 Cutting & Sticking

🌟 Painting

🌟 Building

🌟 Fine Motor

A focus this week was to make paper rings. This was difficult but a lot of children were able to produce paper rings over the week 🌈  The paint table has been extremely popular with children designing a range of paintings 🎨  we have been developing Fine Motor skills through a range of activities - hole punching / threading / beading. This is such an essential skill for children to develop!

In play this week we have been focusing on a range of key skills. Our paint table has been busy and P1 have loved mixing colours to create artwork. We have been working on our scissor skills through crafting. Role playing with our small world animals and developing our fine motor skills through dough disco and beading and linking. We have also been practicing writing using books and tricky words as prompts ✏️

We have been very creative in P1A this week. We have designed some beautiful artwork using paint🎨. We have been constructing towers and buildings using blocks 🧱We have been creating patterns using our peg boards and role playing with our small world animals πŸ―πŸ˜πŸ† We are a creative bunch in P1A🌈

Some fun in our Rainbow Garden 🌈🌸

In P1A, we have been making use of our outdoor play areas while getting to know our new school environment!
