St. Colmcille’s PS have been invited to enter a float in this year’s Downpatrick St. Patrick’s Day Parade! Earlier this week, pupils from Key Stage Two got to work to design our float with the help of Heather and Leontia from Down Community Arts. The boys and girls designed costumes and created props based on Irish mythology, which they will use when they take part in the celebrations on 17th March. Everyone had great fun preparing for what should be a fantastic spectacle, celebrating the first St. Patrick's Day Parade in three years. Please come along and support our entry in the parade!
