ππ°St Colmcille's PS Junior Entrepreneur Winners Β ππ°
Over the past few weeks, children from P7 have been working hard to develop their own business. On Wednesday, representatives from P6/7 and LSC4 attended the Big Market in St. George's Market, Belfast, along with other primary and secondary schools from throughout Northern Ireland. The event was hosted by Young Enterprise NI. The boys and girls received excellent feedback, and their enthusiasm did not go unnoticed as some members were interviewed by BBC Ulster, asking what makes a successful business.
We were delighted to not only make a profit but also to be selected as the overall winners of the Business Beginnings Programme (best primary business)
A special mention goes to Antonia Crothers and Jonah McKee (P6/7) who delivered our business pitch to the judges.
Jonah was also selected for a Juges' Special Recognition Award for his role of Marketing Manager and his ability to answer questions based on the business.
Well done to all involved and a special thank you to Mr Lyttle who coordinates the Junior Entrepreneur Programme in school!
