🌳🎉Primary 7 Residential🌳🎉

Many of our P7 pupils spent the past two days in Carlingford, County Louth, on their ‘Leavers’ Residential’.

It was action-packed from the outset! After arriving in Carlingford town early on Wednesday morning, they made their way to Carlingford Adventure centre: their base for the next two days. Here, they got introduced to the team of instructors, as well as their itinerary for the next couple of days. On the first day, the group took part in 'Stand-Up Paddleboarding' across the Carlingford lough, as well as play laser tag in Slieve Foye forest. After their dinner, the group returned to Slieve Foye forest to toast S'mores on their dusk campfire! They finished off their evening with a Pizza party and plenty of craic with their friends!

On day two, the group got straight to action after a hearty breakfast: by scaling the heights to rock climb, as well as undertake another beautiful countryside walk to take in the stunning scenery of the Cooley peninsula. After enjoying their lunch, the group spent their afternoon in ‘Sky Park’, where 'Ireland's Ancient East Maze' and 'FootballGolf' were the key activities. Although the rain made conditions difficult in the afternoon, it certainly didn't dampen the spirits of the group; everyone took on activities with an eager determination and commendable enthusiasm!

From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience for all of the group and memories they will cherish for many years to come. Well done, Primary 7!
