We are all very excited for the latest outdoor developments here at St. Colmcille’s. The construction of our new Pond & Nature Area is progressing well and will include a multicoloured pergola, which will provide a range of visual effects across the pond. Our new pond will include a variety of fish and aquatic plants, complete with a safety grid and an observation bridge for pupils to view and learn about the wildlife. The site of our old Eco-Garden has also been transformed with the very kind help and talents of Mr Lawrence Blaney and Mr Gareth Blaney, who have built a lovely swing seat for the pupils and renovated other areas of this space. We are looking forward to the completion of these fantastic new facilities and their use by the pupils to further enhance their learning and enjoyment.
