This week in school, P5, P5/6, and P6 children took part in a ‘Mini-First Aid’ training session with Caroline Boyd. The children learned how to deal with burns, breaks, and bleeds, learned how to carry out CPR, and also how to help someone who is choking. The children took part in lots of fun and interactive activities where they practised these lifesaving skills, they also received a special certificate and first aid booklet! This is such an important skill for all children to learn and our KS2 children now feel more confident when it comes to simple first aid skills and the importance of helping others! Our P7s are looking forward to participating in this very worthwhile training session in the weeks to come.
