DISCOVERING CHRIST COURSE FOR PARENTS OF PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN

Faith is caught, deepened, when we meet and talk with other people whose faith is important to them. If you have a child/children in primary school they will be invited to prepare for and receive the sacraments of Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation over the next few years. Your own faith will be the most important thing that will shape your child’s/children’s response to this invitation.  By renewing your own faith, you will give your child/ children one of the best gifts a parent can give.

‘Discovering CHRIST’ is a 7- week course and will run on Tuesday evenings from 4 October to 22 November 2022, starting at 7:00 pm and finishing at 8:30 pm.

Participants will:
Gather one evening a week to share tea/coffee/biscuits over a chat.
View an informative teaching video and then Explore answers to some of the most important questions worth asking about God and finding purpose in life through small groups. Have a retreat day on Saturday 12 November. Parents whose children will choose to receive First Holy Communion or Confirmation this year
are especially invited to attend this life-changing encounter. It is an excellent way to revitalise or rediscover your own faith.

Come and discover something new about your personal relationship with Christ, and others, and how it is relevant to you and your family’s everyday life.

WHO? All adults, age 18 years and over.
WHERE? Our Lady’s and St Patrick Primary School.
WHEN? Tuesday 4 October at 7pm.
