Today marks the conclusion of Deaf Awareness Week 2022. On Friday, we celebrated a special assembly in school to raise awareness of the challenges faced by deaf people, the different ways deaf people communicate with others and some of our pupils even had a go at spelling their name out using sign-language. We also learned about the five top tips for talking to our deaf friends from the National Deaf Children's Society.
