To celebrate Childrenโ€™s Mental Health Week we looked at all the things that make us happy, what we can do to help us when we feel sad and who we can talk to when we need help.

For our work on Rights week, LSC2 and LSC3 worked together to explore whether the government is doing enough to support and protect childrenโ€™s rights.

We focussed on the story of the Epiphany to look at how the Wise Men travelled to meet the baby Jesus, gave gifts and avoided King Herod on their return. The pupils then retold the story in the form of an animation.

LSC3 took park in a protest at the Daily Mile area to raise awareness of water pollution and how it effects us, wildlife and animals all around the world. We researched all about water pollution and found some really disturbing facts about the level of pollution in our oceans. This helped us develop ways in which everybody can help save ocean life and reduce the amount of waste and plastics being dumped into our oceans.

We have explored the themes of Anti Bullying and how we respect everybody. We worked closely with LSC4 to create a poster to show that bullying is wrong and what we can do to help someone who experiences bullying.

The story of John the Baptist was talked about today. We looked at John, how he was related to to Jesus and then how he baptised Jesus. The pupils produced great animation to show this.

Creating our LSC3 class carter board looking at the rights of all pupils and the agreements made between all members of our class.
