PE

Todays PE session focussed on dance and movement linked to the Greatest Showman. We had to use different items to build a routine that the pupils presented to the rest of the group.

We have started Gaelic sessions for our PE with LSC2. We took part in different games to get warmed up before competing in different games related to Gaelic games.

PE today looked at the skills associated with dodgeball. The pupils really enjoyed dodgeball and worked on their skills of coordination, ducking, dodging and throwing.

Improving our coordination, balance and movement through a range a range of circuit training activities.

We focussed on the skills associated with tennis today. We looked at how to hold the racket, balance the ball, bounce the ball on the racket as well as passing it to our partner to catch and return.

To continue our work on Olympic sports and movement we looked at hand eye coordination which is very important to many sports as well as many everyday tasks.

We worked with other classes in the school to explore movements linked to Olympic sports before looking at one of the sports in more detail.
