World Book Day was an exciting event at our school, where the joy of reading took centre stage! Classroom activities were vibrant and diverse, celebrating books and beloved authors, igniting our pupils' imaginations. Children truly embraced the spirit of the day by dressing up as their favourite book characters, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm. 

The ‘Emoji Book Quiz’ was another highlight, with pupils enjoying the challenge and engaging with literature in a fun way—congratulations to the winners for their impressive knowledge! The ‘Decorate the Classroom Door Competition’ was a resounding success, transforming our corridors into exciting literary scenes. The Giving Library provided a calm environment for pupils to browse an array of books, allowing them to lose themselves in captivating stories. Thank you to all who supported the Giving Library and most especially Ms Aurla Ward (Parent & PTFA member) for all of her work & creativity with the organisation of this amazing educational treat for the children!

Overall, World Book Day was an unforgettable celebration that fostered a love of reading and brought our school community together in a delightful way!
