P6 pupils were treated to a very special visit from some real-life Viking warriors and maids. They got to share their knowledge of Vikings and what they have learnt in their topic work so far. The pupils then got to hold real weapons and learn about authentic Viking artefacts, finding out how the Vikings lived their daily lives. At the end of the workshop, the children got to form a shield wall and charge at the Vikings and fight in a battle.
