Today we celebrate St. Brigid. St Brigid is one of three patron saints of Ireland, along with St. Patrick and St. Colmcille. 

Her feast day marks the beginning of the pastoral year, or the coming of spring. The pupils enjoyed learning about St Brigid this week.
