π«ποΈ School Council Update π«ποΈ
Our School Council have been working hard since the beginning of the year to make sure that all pupils in our school are given a voice. Recently, the School Council met with Mr. Austin to discuss some topics that they wanted to raise:
After-School Clubs- The children told us that they enjoy the after schools that are available. They gave some suggestions for different after schools such as golf and knitting which Mr Austin has said he will consider adding these clubs at a later date. There were also suggestions of different sports that can be played during Multi-Sports on a Wednesday that will be taken into consideration. This included the likes of basketball and netball. Finally, some children expressed that they would like to learn cheerleading. It was suggested that this could be linked to the Dance after schools that we currently have.
Help from adults- All School Council Members agreed that the adults do a very good job at helping all the children in our school.
Behaviour- The School Council agreed that the behaviour in school is very good. One issue that was raised was that cloakrooms can become messy with coats/bags on the floor. The School Council Members agreed that they would pass on this information to their class teacher.
End of half term treat- Mr. Austin gave the school council the chance to decide what the end of half-term treat will be for the school. It was decided that Mr. Austin would organise a movie in the hall with treats for children that have been working hard in their classes since the beginning of the year.
Keep up the hard work School Council members! You are doing a great job!
