P6/7 had the opportunity to step back in time on Wednesday and experience what life was like for children in The Victorian Era during a trip to Ulster Folk Museum. P6/7 experienced what a school lesson for children would have been like in the late 1800s as well as exploring Victorian homes and getting the opportunity to visit Victorian businesses. We were also treated to some homemade soda bread made by a peat fire and of course we couldn’t leave without visiting the confectioner to buy some old-fashioned sweets.
