🚌 P5 Visit Ulster Museum 🚌

Primary 5 recently travelled to the Ulster Museum in Belfast for an exciting class trip linked to their World around Us topic, Ancient Egypt. The girls and boys took part in a workshop, studying and identifying different fossils from a range of extinct dinosaurs and animals and linking these fossils to animals that are still alive today. The fossils they studied included a dinosaur tooth, Megalodon tooth, mammoth tooth and Megaloceros antler. The class then moved onto looking at a range of Ancient Egyptian artefacts in more detail before exploring and getting pictures with Takabuti, the real life that is currently on display. It was a really enjoyable trip and the pupils engaged well with the practical learning opportunities on offer at the museum.
