P3/4 went on an exciting trip to Ballyhornan Beach on Thursday as a special treat for winning second place in the recent school Growing Challenge. P3/4 designed a flower bed with the theme, 'Save the Bees!' and planted lots of plants and flowers that would help support our local bee colonies! At the beach, the rain did not stop the fun and they had a fantastic time building sandcastles, exploring the rock pools for crabs, and playing in the playpark.
