On Tuesday 17th June our P3, P4 and LSC3 classes set off on an exciting trip to W5 in Belfast to celebrate all their hard work this year! The children explored a variety of hands on exhibits including Over the Hills and Far Away, Marvellous Mechanisms, and In Our Nature sparking curiosity and creativity at every turn. They also had lots of fun letting loose in the Lost Planet soft play area!
One of the highlights of the day was taking part in a range of engaging workshops. Some pupils became Dino Detectives, using clues and critical thinking to help solve the mystery of a stolen dinosaur egg, while others explored the wonders of the natural world and crafted their own colourful minibeasts. These sessions were not only fun but also packed with learning opportunities. A brilliant day was had by all!
