In St Colmcille's PS, we are very fortunate to have a hardworking and proactive PTFA who give freely of their time to fundraise and provide lovely memories/experiences for our wonderful pupils.

Fundraising efforts include Charity Bingo, Bonus Ball,  Raffles,  50p Friday's etc. Experiences they have greatly assisted with include movie afternoons, fundays, celebrations, sports day, giving library etc.

Last year the PTFA made a significant contribution of £10,000  to the cost of our bespoke Outdoor Classroom which has been a terrific learning resource that all of our children avail of.

Recently, they provided Mr Austin with £7000 to put towards the cost of our new Climbing Fitness Area which is currently under construction and which is costing approximately £25,000 to bring onsite.

The PTFA are also aiming to put several thousand  pounds towards the cost of lowering the cost of End of Year Trips which will no doubt assist parents & the children will greatly enjoy these fun educational experiences that are organised for them.

At this time, it is very important to recognise the work of our wonderful PTFA and their contribution toward school life  and also to thank our parents/school community who are always so supportive of school fundraising and the work of the PTFA!
