๐๐ Thatโs A Wrap - Summer Programme 2023 ๐๐
Fri 14 Jul 2023A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Summer Programme over the past two weeks, making it a huge success! Over 300 boys and girls, from Primary 1 to Primary 7, had great fun taking part in Art, Cooking, STEAM and Sport activities, in both our school and Ballymote Sports and Well-Being Centre. Although the weather wasn’t on our side today, our spirits could not be dampened as we rounded the two weeks off with a Summer Fun Day, with bouncy castles, water fights and ice cream. Thanks to our school staff for their hard work over these past two fun-filled weeks and a special thanks to Mr Lyttle for coordinating our Summer Programme. St. Colmcille’s Youth Club Afternoon Sessions will continue for a third week, next week, at the Ballymote Sports and Well-Being Centre. We hope everyone has a lovely summer and we look forward to welcoming you all back to school in August.

๐ค Ballymote Community Project Donation ๐ค
Fri 07 Jul 2023After a recent funding application, David McCarthy (Manager of the Ballymote Community Project) recently presented St Colmcille’s PS with a £3500 donation towards our Summer Programme which was delivered in partnership with St Colmcille’s Youth Club. This funding was very necessary as we were successful in our aim to provide a popular low-cost Summer Programme to our families in both morning and afternoon sessions. With over 20 staff employed and numerous resources required to provide for approx. 300 children over the 3 weeks, the generosity of the Board of the Ballymote Community Project is deeply appreciated.
