  We were delighted to welcome all our new P1 pupils yesterday, for their first day at St. Colmcille’s PS! Our P1s arrived with their families and were greeted by their teachers, who were so impressed by how well they all did throughout the morning. We look forward to seeing our P1 pupils making new friends, settling into their classes and enjoying many happy days to come here in St. Colmcille’s!

  On behalf of the staff, pupils, parents, BoG & wider school community of St Colmcille’s PS we extend our sincerest sympathies to the family of Jim Cahalane on his recent passing. All at St Colmcille’s PS are truly sorry to hear of the passing of Jim. He was the first principal of the school when it opened in 1975. Jim will be forever remembered as a very dedicated principal and a real gentleman. St Colmcille pray for Jim.

  School photos for P1 & P7 (including LSC P1 & P7) will take place on Monday 11th September. Pupils should wear full school uniform. A date for P2-P6 school photos will be announced in due course.

  We are delighted to offer wrap around provision and extra-curricular activities for our pupils, beginning Monday 4th September. Please see the following timetables and prices. Although costs have risen significantly, we have ensured that the price of our Breakfast and After School Clubs have not risen and continue to represent excellent value for our families and school community. Places can be booked for After School Clubs via SchoolMoney. Bookings for Music Tuition sessions will be available via a form, which will be sent out next week.

  We are looking forward to the beginning of Term One, starting with welcoming our new Primary 1 pupils on Tuesday 29th August, followed by welcoming the rest of our pupils back to school on Thursday 31st August.
