โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒš WALT: explore the differences between day and night ๐ŸŒšโ˜€๏ธ

We started the week by reading the story of ‘Night Monkey, Day Monkey’ and sorted the images from the story into images that were found during the day and those that were found at night. We then moved on to speaking about day and night in relation to our own lives and things that we do. Miss Vaughan displayed various scenarios and asked us if they happened during the day or at night. We then completed an individual task sorting images by day and night.

๐ŸฅฐWALT: identify acceptable behaviours that make us feel safe and cared for in school ๐Ÿฅฐ

Since beginning school we have read numerous stories during our PDMU lessons and Morning Programme. We have also been learning about the class rules and the need for them to keep us all safe and happy in school. After a few weeks with this focus and learning about the rules in different ways, we completed a sort in pairs on ‘acceptable behaviour’ and ‘not acceptable behaviour.’
