WALT: Recognise the wildlife and habitats found in our school grounds and how we can help them.
LSC4 and P7B have teamed up to enter the Hedgerow Heroes Competition. The competition involves learning about wildlife and habitats that are present in our school grounds and then pupils are challenged to design, sketch and plan the inclusion of 20 metres of native hedges. Only a select few schools will be chosen in the competition with the winners receiving the supplies and training to plant and develop a hedgerow in their school. Both classes worked in teams to discuss, sketch and draw the various beautiful outdoor areas where animals and insects might currently live in our school grounds.
