Numeracy with Miss Walsh ➕🟰
This week some of the children investigated different ways of making numbers using Numicon. Some of the children explored the many ways we can make 10 while other children investigated making the number 4. Miss Walsh was very impressed with all the children's problem solving abilities!📖🤔
Outdoor Numeracy learning is lots of fun! 🌿🌿 The Primary 3 pupils are developing their mathematical understanding of the 'before,' 'between' and 'after' concept.
The older children have been working very hard on place value up to 100,000 in sessions. We know that the value of a digit is determined by its position within a number. Practical learning activities in withdrawal sessions help to consolidate our place value learning from inside the classroom!🌸
