Thank You Ms Bogues!
Friday 22nd March
Today in Primary 7A, we waved farewell to Ms Bogues, who finished her last day of her teacher training placement with us.
Miss Bogues was an outstanding asset to our class and the girls and boys greatly enjoyed participating in her excellent lessons and the countless learning opportunities that she provided.
The class took time today to thank Miss Bogues, as well as wish her good luck in her future career!
The Big Birdwatch!
Wednesday 31st January
Primary 7 had great fun exploring birds in our local area and participating in the 'Big Birdwatch' 2024!
Football success!
Monday 11th December
Congratulations to Eoin, Shea and Conor in P7, who were part of the 'Celtic Bhoys' Under 12 football team who lifted the Downpatrick Youth Football League Cup last weekend. The boys performed excellently in a hard fought final, which they won 3-0. Congratulations boys on your excellent achievement!
Christmas Play 2023!

Primary 7 worked incredibly hard in recent weeks to put together a fantastic Christmas play, titled 'Straw and Order'.

Congratulations Olivia!
Wednesday 6th December
Congratulations to Olivia in P7, who had outstanding success at a recent 'Celtic Masters' dancing event, which was held recently in Armagh.
Olivia placed 2nd in 'Advanced Junior Teen', 'Showcase duos', 'Partners' and 'Country Classic'. She also placed 1st in the 'Intermediate Junior Pro-am' and 'Cabaret' events. Congratulations Olivia on a wonderful achievement!
Halloween Celebrations
Friday 27th October
Our Primary 7s had a fantastic day today celebrating Halloween, through a range of art activities, a Halloween movie in class and a fantastic Halloween Disco. It was a great day’s fun and an excellent way to end the mid-term.
Pizza Party!
Thursday 26th October
Thanks to a parent of our class winning a competition, our class had a fantastic Pizza Party today, courtesy of Fallones!
It was an excellent way to celebrate the end of the mid-term and to mark all the hard work from our Primary 7s so far this year.
Congratulations Maddison!
Tuesday 3rd October
A massive congratulations to Maddison in P7, who had outstanding success in a recent Irish Dancing Feis in Derry over the weekend.
Maddison was awarded 5th place in the Single Rig, 3rd in the Trophy Reel, 2nd in the light jig and was awarded 1st place in the easy reel- picking herself up a beautiful trophy in the process!
A fantastic achievement for a very talented dancer- well done, Maddison!
Student Council Representative 2023-2024
Thursday 23rd September
Congratulations to Poppy, who was successfully selected by her peers as the Student Council class representative for the 2023-2024 year. Poppy will work hard with the other class representatives across the school for the reminder of the year, to develop an active pupil voice within the life and management of the school. Well done, Poppy, and good luck!
