WALT develop our resilience. P5/6 have been working on becoming more resilient and as part of that have looked at animals and humans that have displayed this quality. The boys and girls then looked at ways they can be more resilient.
WALT think of ways we can welcome others into our community. As part of Catholic Schools Week the boys and girls of P5/6 read the story ‘My name is not Refugee’ - a great story looking at the perils refugees face. We then discussed how we can welcome others into our communities, both in our school and in the wider community.
Catholic School's Week. The boys and girls have enjoyed creating cards and writing prayers for their grandparents during Catholic School’s Week. The class discussed the importance of grandparents and the good examples they set for us to follow in our own lives.
