This year for National Poetry Day we looked at the theme, 'Refuge.' Refuge means a safe place. P4A took part in relaxation and mindfulness to think of or create their own refuge in their imagination. They then wrote poems about their refuge using the 5 senses. They all enjoyed this activity and did an amazing job of writing their poetry. P4A can now use their safe place should they never feel sad, worried or want to relax.
