In the lead up to Pentecost, we have been exploring the energy given to us by wind and fire. P5 made their own windmills this week to understand the power of wind.
Easter
P5 have created beautiful Easter cards using chalk pastels to celebrate and share the message that Jesus has risen.
We have celebrated St Bridget’s Day by learning about the stories associated with St Bridget- her cloak and crosses. We made st Bridget’s crosses using rushes.
P5 have been learning about Moses and what he did in the Old Testament. We have been acting out some of the stories of Moses.
P5 have been learning about the meaning of the advent wreath showing God’s unending love and the meaning of the advent candles representing hope, joy, peace, love and Jesus as we wait for Christmas.
Well done to our class winners for the Road safety posters, very informative.
Anti-bullying week
We have been making a noise about anti-bullying this week, making sure to speak out if we are upset or we see bullying behaviours.
