Fri 15 Dec 2023Congratulations to Eoin, Shea and Conor in P7, who were part of the Celtic Bhoys Downpatrick Under 12 Football Team who lifted the Downpatrick Youth Football League Cup last weekend. The boys performed excellently in a hard fought final, which they won 3-0. Congratulations boys on your excellent achievement!

๐ถ๐ Christmas Carol Events ๐ถ๐
Fri 15 Dec 2023The choir have kicked off their community singing events at the Downe Hospital yesterday. The children did a wonderful job spreading Christmas cheer among the staff and patients of the hospital. The choir will be singing at various places throughout the community next week and will be joining as part of the Parish Carol Service at 5pm tomorrow (Sunday 17th December) in St. Patrick’s Church. All are welcome to come along and join in the joy of Advent! Downpatrick Parish

Fri 15 Dec 2023This week our pupils have been feeling festive and enjoying Christmas art workshops organised by our very talented Mrs Henderson along with Miss Neeson, Mrs Woodside and Mrs McKee! Each class had a day filled with Christmas music, festive art activities, and produced some lovely decorations and ornaments to take home!
We feel so lucky to have such talented and hardworking staff in our school, who willingly go the extra mile to allow our pupils to enjoy these lovely workshops and experiences.
Mrs Henderson also has her own business customising beautiful trainers and boots, feel free to check her out!

๐ Well done to our Rights Respecting Pupils of the Week. These pupils have been exemplary at showing respect for the rights of their friends throughout the week. Well done to Mr Harbinson, our Duty Bearer of the Week. The pupils in our rights steering group agreed that Mr Harbinson is dedicated to ensuring that the pupils in our school’s rights are protected.

Fri 08 Dec 2023Congratulation to Olivia in P7, who had outstanding success at a recent 'Celtic Masters' dancing event, which was held recently in Armagh. Olivia placed 2nd in 'Advanced Junior Teen', 'Showcase duos', 'Partners' and 'Country Classic'. She also placed 1st in the 'Intermediate Junior Pro-am' and 'Cabaret' events. Congratulations Olivia on a wonderful achievement!
