P1 Withdrawal

Numeracy:
This half term the children in P1 have been exploring their numbers to 15 with Mrs Mussen. They have used a wide range of games, resources and mediums to explore their numbers. We have even taking their learning outdoors when the weather has allowed us to.
Literacy:
This half term the children have been recalling their SATPIN sounds. They have looked at forming, quickly recalling, writing, identifying sounds, matching sounds to the correct item and recited the Jolly Phonics songs on a daily basis.
ICT:
The children have been developing skills in using Pic Collage this half term. They have been learning to select backgrounds, add text me images and edit their poster accordingly.
Social, Emotional Learning:
We have been focusing on various skills this half term including turn taking, choosing appropriate behaviour and demonstrating good listening.
