St. Colmcille’s is proud to further expand our musical tuition provision. Alongside our popular guitar and violin lessons, we have recently introduced Drumming lessons for pupils. Drumming is an excellent addition to our musical tuition in school, as it helps children with communication, their ability to control their body through multitasking and helps to develop both the creative and logic sides of the brain. Drumming is fantastic at strengthening key mathematical skills such as counting, as well as developing crucial musical skills such as rhythm and 
maintaining a beat. Most importantly, drumming is lots of FUN! Our lessons are provided by professional drummer, Mr Martin Galbraith, who has been drumming for 30 years and has played with amazing artists such as Bob Geldof! We love to see our pupils enjoying this wonderful 
instrument and can’t wait to see their progress over the weeks to come.
