This week, St Colmcille's PS celebrated Maths Week Ireland, enjoying a wide variety of lessons and activities that focused on themes with our Numeracy Topic strands, as well as providing opportunities for the pupils to further their Mathematical learning outside of the classroom in the many different outdoor learning areas that are situated on our school grounds. In our Friday Assembly, our pupils learned more about the importance of developing our maths skills to use in everyday life, including; managing our money and making financial decisions, sports and exercise, managing our time, cooking and preparing food, working out distances and times for travel, driving and shopping. Everybody had a great time participating in Maths Week 2022.
