A number of the staff of St. Colmcille’s PS, recently participated in a mixed rules basketball/netball tournament to raise money for our chosen charity partners, with other staff donating also. The tournament was very competitive and enjoyable, with the Black/Grey Team triumphing and the White Team taking the wooden spoon! A special thanks to Mr Lyttle for organising the staff charity fundraising event. The money raised, along with Green Day donations, came to more than £1000! We are therefore delighted to donate £500 of this to Trocaire and another £500 to Cancer Focus Northern Ireland, with the remaining money raised going towards our Cost of Living Crisis Support initiatives. Thank you to all members of our school community who donated for Green Day and to our staff, friends and families for raising a fantastic amount of sponsorship, all of which will support these great causes to help those in need.
