This week in Phonics, P3 have been learning about the ‘qu’ sound. The children took part in a variety of fun, hands-on activities to practise reading and building words. Some children used magnetic letters and whiteboards to make ‘qu’ and 'ab' words, while others used LEGO to build ‘qu’ and ‘ab’ words. Another group enjoyed a matching game on the interactive whiteboard, and some children used paper squares to create and build words.
